Photos.suggestions to putting photos on the web...

Hello..

Well, I like the idea that we can put photos directly on to here.(I athink that is what I remember reading)..but need connections of some kind (host) to place our photos. I know there are various ones. I don't have a website so need to use other resources. What have people had success using and that are free?

I hope I am getting the right gist of this procedure of putting photos online. All new to me!

I am not sure there is much in the way of free sites that allow linking to files/pictures on the site. All of the ones I have seen prohibit linking to pictures, so the free host is only worth it if you want a small web site.

Perhaps someone else knows of one. We need to get more people registered and posting here.

I've heard people talk about free sites that do give you a little bit of space, but it's not usually very much. And for the use they usually require you to put up with their ads that they tack onto your messages.

You know though, I might be able to allow uploads to the forum here. I have a couple of sites that have several hundred megs of disk space that I'm not using that are under different domain names. I'll have to see if they can be utilized in some way. Then those that don't have space can be allocated some space to be able to upload some files for awhile. Let me work on this and I'll let people know if I can work it out.
