Please Help--Health Issue

Hello,
My beautiful 2-year-old Bouvier des Flandres, Mishka, woke up from a deep sleep last night and couldn't use her hind legs for about three minutes. She did not appear to be in pain, but she did panic at first. We calmed her down, and in a couple of minutes, she was fine. We have scheduled an appointment with our vet, but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this or has any idea what it could be.
