How To Register and Post Messages

While guests can view most of the message areas (a couple are reserved for registered members only) you have to be registered to post messages and be able to read those areas that are only for registered members. Only registered members can view the member list, send private messages or e-mails.

Registering is easy. At the top of the Forum list, click on the Register option. This will allow you to answer a few questions and send a request to register. In a short time (fairly quickly if you have fast e-mail service) a response will be sent to the e-mail address you included in your information. Click on the link that is included in the message to activate your new login. Once you do this, you will be able to login and join in with the other registered members of the Echo Bouvier forum. Some of the registration features, such as the image verifacation screen, are necessary to keep the spambots (automated programs that spammers use to log onto forums to leave their spam) from registering. It won't stop all of them all of the time, but it will stop most of them most of the time.
