As a Tech Ed teacher, I find was to save money. Does anyone have a pattern or reference material for a cart? Something that I'm interested in.

Are you interested in 2 wheel cart, 4 wheel wagon, 3 wheel cart or 2 wheel scooter?
A lot of people use the green garden wagon or the red kids wagon as their start and then put shafts on it for the dog(s). Others make a basic box with 2 wheels and add PVC or metal conduit shafts. Others get more elaberate and bend stronger aluminum than conduit and build a frame with bike wheels and shafts. Are you just wanting to pull something, carry a load or a person? Mike |

Hi Howard,
There are any number of cart plans on the web... google a bit and you will likely find some. There are also a number of Yahoo lists devoted to carting. CARTING-L is the one I find most useful. The main issue is to figure out what you want to accomplish with the rig before you decide to build one since the use should dictate the style. If the goal is to pull loads, then a wagon is a better choice than a 2 wheeled cart where load balance will be a critical factor (though I have hauled several hundred pounds of dog food in a 2 wheeled cart and got away with it... I just was always careful to load the cart in a balanced fashion). Cheers, Sue |

Keeping options open as I have time. My luck, the male will break loose and bite me for the errors of my way!
