Hi there! We are Mary and Dan and our girls or family additions are Windy, a 19 month old Bouvier and Bria, a 11 month old Black Russian Terrier. We live outside of Chicago in the suburbs and IF our home ever sells we plan on getting some more land so the girls can do more, have more room to run and maybe a few ducks to herd around.
I am hoping to learn more about herding and tracking and of course obedience, rally and agility. We show our girls in both UKC and AKC and Windy just finished her UKC Championship this past weekend. After my neck surgery I plan to do more obedience with them both and move onto rally. Meanwhile, I am going to do some basic herding 101 online and work with basic commands and signals so when we actually get into a herding class we are somewhat ready! I am glad I found this forum and hope to be able to give back to it too. Kindest Regards, Mary, Dan, Windy and Bria Last edited by Mary P; 07-14-2008 at 04:26 PM. Reason: typo |

Hi Mary, and welcome to the Bouvier Forum. And thanks for jumping right in and posting. We have a number of people that read, but they seem to be a bit shy about posting... either that or they are really cat people and don't want the Bouvier's to find out.
Nothing like having a handfull of Bouviers with young'uns like that. They are still very much puppies going on gangly teenagers. But still willing to learn. Again, welcome. Mike |
