Well I did it. Got the AKC CGC on my female Bouvier, Bear. She managed to break the "down and stay" after 3 steps away! I returned her to the location and finished the test with a passing effort, a Schutzhund BH wouldn't have been successful.

Afterwards, the host judge said, "So, you're the one from the working dog group." "Yep," I replied and I never saw on the form that PPDs weren't allowed to certify...... She then went on to say that they would like me to speak about working dogs and be a member and instructor with their club.

Who would think $10.00 and a half a day could produce so much fun?!
