Default Breed Specific Legislation (BSL)

In a time when folks can no longer enjoy the efforts of their labor, it seems like some "well meaning" homeowner's association or lawyer is trying to push Breed Specific Legislation (BSL). They list many large breeds of dogs as having the ability to kill or injure. Some states and cities are pushing hard to restrict YOUR ability to own certain breeds of sporting, herding, and working dogs. "They're killers!" "Have them listed as possible problem breeds."

We as working or herding dog owners should put a stop to this form of K-9 harassment. In Dover, Delaware, the city tried to list several breeds as problem dogs. I, along with many others got active to stop this game. It isn't the breed of dog which is the problem. And we don't need new laws on the books for OUR safety. We do need money for quality law enforcement to arrest and jail these 2 cent thugs who fight dogs, steal dogs, and are giving responsible breeders and owners a bad name.

Before long you will see the Bouvier on the K-9 hit list...joining the ranks of the Mastiff, Pit Bull Terrier, Dobie, and what next? Ain't getting my Bouvs!!!
