Thanks, Sarah. Yes, the girls are very cute, aren't they.

I'm behind on getting pictures up. I have some from Wed and Thur but haven't had a chance to get them out of my camera yet. I hope to catch up this weekend and also do some more formal pictures of all of the puppies. It seems when I take pictures, a few like to hog the camera (Red, Green, Yellow in paticular), so I need to give more time to the others.

I also want to get some video. I'd like to get some of Red doing her submarine dive at feeding time. She seems to be the last to dinner, so she climbs up on top of everyone, puts her nose down and her rump up in the air and dives down vertically. You should hear the screaming from the others as she worms her way down to a faucette to latch on. She may be last, but she sure isn't least when it comes to dinner.

Default Some notes about the puppies....

Mr. Dark Green was the first puppy to climb Blanket Mountain and take a swan dive out of the pool. He was only four days old at the time, but was not phased in the least.

The red girl has come close a few times. She is another climber and particularly likes to shinny up Dyna's flank. She is also the all time eater to date. She's gained 10.4 ounces so far.

Her sister in crime is no slouch when it comes to dinner either. She has packed on 9 ounces and is an active puppy too.

Mr. Yellow seems to have inherited Frank's opinion and vocal genes. He has a lot to say about a lot of things and is hard to miss when he starts singing. ... or maybe he's just been watching too much American Idol. ;>

The other boys are growing well too. They are all such sweet, cuddly little puppies and yes, I do have a rocking chair in the puppy room! It won't be long though until they are ready for toys and puppy mayhem.

Keep checking back for pictures... we got a few days behind because both Mike and I were tired, but we'll try to get more up on a regular basis,

Cheers,
Sue

Default Some color clarifications...

There are 2 boys with green collars... one dark forest green and and one light lime green.

There are 2 boys with blue collars... one dark navy and one very light blue.

The fifth boy has a yellow collar.

Girls are wearing a red collar and a red gingham collar. You can also spot them from the rear because both of them are still wearing the tails their momma gave them.

Default Another interesting (at least to me!) observation....

When our first litter was born, the puppies came equipped with little pink kitty cat noses that darkened over time. I remember making a joke about the Lee Press on Nose Fairy had finally come to visit.

The puppies in this litter all had very black Bouv noses when they were born.

Cheers,
Sue
